Greetings MSG fans. What a night in Chicago! The best show I have ever attended to date! I have seen over 500 shows since 1979 and this one was the mother lode! The Rosemont Theater held a sold out show of over 3500 screaming fans and what a night! MSG started off with the usual intro and Armed and Ready. To hear a huge crowd applaud Michael and the band was really special! They played a short set much like Modesto and ended with Rock Bottom .This was the best performance of the tour for the band that I saw in 6 shows and Michael was showing that with his playing! The only bummer with the short set with no Lost Horizons or Mad Axeman. The band showed great energy and with some sleep they had, it showed! MSG ended with a huge applause from the crowd then off we went on the stage to roll off MSG and get ready for the Scorps .
I was able to get in the Scorps dressing room and watch Michael and the Scorps talk about Michaels entrance when they play Another Piece Of Meat. I couldn't believe I was witnessing this in person .One of the greatest things to watch backstage that I can remember. The Scorps hit the stage and I stayed back and spoke with Michael and had him sign my Schenker Bros Picture .He was in a great mood and I got a quick and rare pic with him. Rev Jones too! He is always there for the fans!! The Scorps started the set and the crowd was LOUD!! I was stage right and then moved about the gig to get several shots .The sound was amazing !!!The Scorps run a tight ship and their crew are true professionals ! Here are a few shots!
