MSG @ THE BOARDWALK ORANGEVALE,CA 8/17/10
Greetings MSG fans! For the
5th show of the tour for me, I am happy to write a little more about the MSG
tour of 2010. There was a small but loud crowd representing Sacramento just under 300 or so in the tight but cool club of The Boardwalk. After
we loaded in, I had the privilege
Before the show I spotted Scott Travis (drummer for Judas Priest) in the crowd and talked to him briefly. I told him were to find Jeff Martin and that was very cool! The show started off at around 10:45pm. Michael came out on fire as usual .The band played straight through the set all the way to Doctor Doctor. Another great night of MSG! The sound tonight wasn't the best as the past few shows and sounded a bit too loud and distorted. It did get better after a few songs. It was really the acoustics of the venue I think. I noticed during few songs Michael guitar was out of tune as well. He changed guitars then it was back to business for
Michael. I heard Gary's voice much better tonight! Way to go Gary! Carmine Appice is the nicest and classiest Rock Star I have ever met .He really spent time with the fans. Especially for the VIP people. What a great guy ! I am very blessed to have spent a few shows with him. Rev Jones is another great person as well! He talked about his time with MSG and really has played on the road non stop since the 80's.He is also great with the fans. And my brother Wayne Findlay!! I wouldn't be on this tour and have this site if it wasn't for him, a true professional and a great musician too! My last show is MSG/ Scorps in Chicago .I hope to have a much better and detailed review for you! Thanks again for reading!.. Axe For Pics go here
